Flying to the border between fact and fiction |
I usually go by Vel. Mostly reblogging, and currently a lot of Transformers (all continuities). There will be robots getting nookie. I tag gifs, spoilers and nsfw content—let me know if there are any other warning tags you’d like me to include. |
Why are people so eager to think that cybertronians are monogamous?
(I present you my OT4 XD )

Right, so apparently I’m incapable of drawing robot fluff. It’s full-on porn or nothing. ;____;
and Megatron’s a bitch to draw, srslyI blame Jee and Andy Prime, just so’s we’re clear. (ʘ‿ʘ✿)
I’m in a cutesy mood, so I drew something cute. :> Done without reference (because I’m so lazy and it’s late and I’m tired derp derp).

Jasu perkele mä syytän sua kokonaan näistä.
Kyseinen henkilö siis näytti tän meitille ja ööh… mielikuvitus lähti taas vähä liikaa vaeltaa.
one of my favourite TFP Megatron moments (2nd gif). I love his eyes, especially how they narrow at the end.
I also included the 1st gif because I just noticed that you can see Megatron’s “biolights”(?) in his shoulder and cannon slowly lighting up. those animators, I tell ya…

Okay. Okay, okay, okay.
Here’s the thing.
Megatron is charismatic. Or, at least, he can be when he wants to be.
It’s not natural, maybe. It’s not something that happens without conscious effort on his part – it’s something he has to decide to do. But it’s there. In fact, the entire Decepticon cause is built on it.
When he was first rallying Cybertronians to his cause, he wasn’t doing it through fear or intimidation or brute force – that would come later. When he began, he inspired them with his words – his writing and his speeches and the articulation of his ideas. And that took charisma.
They didn’t join because they were afraid of him. They joined because they believed in his ideals, his reforms and his goals and the change he wanted for Cybertron. He convinced them of these ideals, and, more than that, he convinced them that he could achieve them. They believed in him because he made them believe.
That was his charisma.

Uploading this for a friend who’s new to the fandom and the ship. Amusing how the dialogue doesn’t require that much editing.
Note: I’ve done my level best to source the manip, but to no avail. I got it years ago on 4chan (probably dating myself here) and all the Google Image Search links lead to random websites with the manip nowhere to be found. If you have any info, I’ll be glad to edit the post.
Subtext, what subtext?
… The only thing sub about this panel was Optimus, duh.
